Keeping the city of Frankfurt clean is one of our responsibilities. More than 300 vehicles are in operation daily for this purpose: large and small sweepers, water trucks, and many special vehicles for cleaning streets, sidewalks, and squares.

From practice for practice – our new improved small sweepers operate significantly quieter than conventional sweepers.
FES has been commissioned by the City of Frankfurt am Main to maintain and clean streets and public facilities. The cleaning responsibility ranges from highways running through the city to public toilets. We take it upon ourselves to ensure the cleanliness of our city. We do this with the help of modern sweepers, trained personnel, and extensive cleaning plans. In this way, we do our best to guarantee traffic safety on the streets.
In addition to daily cleaning, special tasks are also part of our business: for example, our accident assistance vehicle, which the fire department and police call to clear accident damage, is available around the clock via our central office.
The street cleaning team also includes our mobile rapid cleaning unit, which is constantly in operation for the City of Frankfurt am Main. With a self-loading crane, it can easily pick up illegal waste and bulky trash deposits.
By the way: Sweepers cannot operate in freezing conditions because they carry water. In such cases, the winter service is on duty for you.
