When is a clearance service worthwhile for you?
If it's just a matter of clearing out a small cellar, the effort involved is still manageable, but it will still take a few hours. Once you've finally put everything out on the street for bulky waste collection, it's possible that not everything will be collected the next day. This can happen if not everything in the cellar meets the requirements for bulky waste disposal.
This is not only annoying for you, but also time-consuming, as the material that was not disposed of now has to be taken back to your basement. If it involves clearing an apartment, a house, or a large hall, the effort increases and disposal becomes considerably more complex.
Clearing properties can be similarly complex, for example when mixed construction waste or large quantities of green waste are present. Here too, professional disposal is required.
In summary: A clearance service is worthwhile if you are unsure how to properly dispose of electrical appliances, wood, scrap metal, construction rubble, mixed construction waste, roots, green waste, and bulky waste. You may also lack suitable transport options, as not everyone has a private car they can or want to rely on. Ordering a container is often associated with a complicated permit procedure if it is to be placed in public space. The list of reasons in favor of making life a little easier and hiring a professional clearance service is long.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Collection Initiative (EASI)
All Frankfurt residents can have large and heavy old electrical appliances collected directly from their home or basement. This extended service is free of charge and is financed by the City of Frankfurt's Department of the Environment. At EASI, GWR employees come to your home at an agreed collection time. To make an appointment, you must register an appliance with an edge length of at least 60 centimetres, such as a refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, stove, large television, or similar. In addition, smaller electrical appliances are also collected when such large electrical appliances are picked up.
No. Not everything that comes out during a clearance is automatically classified as bulky waste. Depending on the material, certain items must be disposed of separately – for example, electrical appliances, metals, wood or other materials. This is precisely where a professional clearance service comes in handy.
