  • Service fees are charged for the use of the residual waste bin. These depend on the size and frequency of collection ( waste disposal fees).
  • The residual waste bins have a grey/black body and a grey/black lid.
  • Use of the residual waste bin is mandatory.
  • The size and quantity depend on actual need.
  • Commercial businesses must also be connected to the residual waste collection (minimum container capacity see §8 paragraph 6 Waste Statutes).
  • Residual waste bins are available in sizes 80, 120, 240 and 770 l as well as 1.1, 2.5 and 5 m³.
  • If the residual waste bin is insufficient due to renovations or after events, please use the municipal grey 70 l waste bags with the appropriate print. Residual waste bags can be purchased at sales points for €3.50.
  • Tenants cannot order the residual waste bin themselves. They must contact the owner or property manager.

The following items are permitted

  • Hygiene items (e.g. tissues, sanitary towels, cotton wool),
  • Nappies,
  • dust, ashes, rubbish,
  • cigarette butts,
  • kitchen towels, dishcloths and cleaning cloths,
  • Vacuum cleaner bags,
  • small animal litter,
  • Drinking glasses, porcelain, ceramics, all broken glass (including mirrors).

What should not be placed in the residual waste bin?

  • Electrical appliances/scrap (small appliances: recycling centres, large appliances: bulky waste),
  • Batteries (special collection containers in supermarkets and public buildings),
  • hazardous waste/pollutants such as paints, varnishes, sprays, etc. (hazardous waste collection vehicle).
  • Packaging of any kind
  • Building rubble
  • Food waste
  • Old clothes/shoes
