Container data and filling

Which container size is right for me?

We offer the following containers here:

Volume Designation
7 m³ Skip container (AKO 7)
10 m³ Skip container (AKO 10)
10 m³ Roll-off container (RKO 10)
20 m³ Roll-off container (RKO 20)
36 m³ Roll-off container (RKO 36)

Other container sizes available on request! Please use our contact form or our free service hotline 0800 2008007-70!

To calculate the appropriate container size, you must compact the waste to be disposed of and measure its height, width and length. You can either
compare these values directly with our container sizes or multiply all values (height x width x length) together to calculate the corresponding volume of your waste.

Please note that you should add at least 30% to allow for any gaps so that you can dispose of all your waste using your container.

What are the dimensions of the different containers?

Volume Designation Height Length Width
7 m³ Skip container (AKO 7) 1,500 mm 3,500 mm 1,750 mm
10 m³ Skip container (AKO 10) 1,800 mm 3,750 mm 1,750 mm
10 m³ Roll-off container (RKO 10) 900 mm 5,000 mm 2,300 mm
20 m³ Roll-off container (RKO 20) 1,750 mm 5,000 mm 2,430 mm
36 m³ Roll-off container (RKO 36) 2,300 mm 6,500 mm 2,430 mm

All measurements are approximate.

What is the difference between a skip and a roll-off container?

A skip container (AKO) is the perfect container for disposing of small to medium-sized quantities of waste. An AKO is set down or picked up using four chains that are attached to the side of the container. This has the advantage that the space required is comparatively small, as the AKO does not need to be rolled or moved. However, an AKO is not accessible; it can only be filled from above from the loading edge.

A roll-off container (RKO) is the perfect container for disposing of larger quantities of waste. Thanks to the rollers at the end of the container, an RKO can be positioned flexibly when setting down or picking up. In addition, hinged doors at the front allow for ground-level access.

Please note that the ground in the area where the container is placed or rolled out must be solid to ensure that the container remains stable.

What can and cannot be put in my container?

The waste you are permitted to place in your container depends on the type of waste you selected when placing your order.

You can find the corresponding definitions of the individual waste types in the FAQ Waste type for the individual fractions.

How full can the container be filled?

All containers may only be filled to below the loading edge in order to ensure safe transport. The contents must not exceed the height of the side walls.

It is not permitted to raise the side walls yourself (e.g. with boards or metal plates). Furthermore, no objects (e.g. boards, metal pipes, branches) may protrude beyond the edge.

What happens if my container is filled incorrectly?

The waste you are permitted to place in your container depends on the type of waste you selected when placing your order. If your container contains other types of waste, these will be invoiced separately at a later date.

You should therefore check the filling conditions and terms and conditions carefully before placing your order and, if necessary, order several containers.
