What should be considered with regard to the following types of waste?

construction waste

What is construction waste?

Construction waste exclusively includes uncontaminated mineral waste that is generated during construction, demolition, renovation or refurbishment work.

This may be included:

  • Concrete rubble and pieces of concrete (max. 10% proportion)
  • Masonry
  • Plaster
  • Bricks/broken bricks
  • Tiles
  • Ceramics

This must not contain, for example:

  • Adhesions of non-mineral waste
  • Insulation materials made of artificial mineral fibre or polystyrene
  • Roofing felt
  • Gypsum
  • Aerated concrete
  • Ytong
  • Glass
  • Turf
  • Asphalt
  • Wood

Was müssen Sie beachten?

construction waste

What is mixed construction waste?

Mixed construction waste is defined as all waste generated during new construction, renovation and extension work.

This may be included:

  • Aerated concrete, aerated concrete blocks
  • Gypsum products, lightweight concrete blocks
  • Cork panels
  • Wood without harmful contaminants
  • Cable scraps
  • Floor coverings, carpets, textiles
  • Metals
  • Plastics, films, PVC, packaging
  • Cisterns
  • Materials containing HBCD (e.g. polystyrene with adhesive residues up to max. 0.5 m³/tonne)

The following, for example, must not be included:

  • Asbestos
  • A IV wood (wood from outdoor areas, such as hunter fences, railway sleepers)
  • Tar-containing materials, tar paper
  • Bitumen emulsions
  • Fluorescent tubes
  • Heating oil tanks
  • Glass and rock wool

What do you need to bear in mind?

Please note that mixed construction waste may contain a maximum of 5% mineral components. If you wish to dispose of larger quantities of mineral construction waste, we recommend ordering a construction waste container. This not only simplifies the ordering and billing process, but is also more cost-effective.

Bulky waste refers to all furniture, household items and everyday objects that cannot be disposed of with household waste due to their size, weight and/or nature.

This may include:

This must not contain, for example:

What do you need to bear in mind?

Please note that only household items may be disposed of in the bulky waste containers. Normal household waste does not belong in the bulky waste, but must be disposed of in the residual waste bin!

Bulky waste from commercial sources is divided into two categories, as the recycling methods differ:

  • Category 1: With a wood content of over 50% of the delivered bulky waste
  • Category 2: With a wood content of less than 50% of the delivered bulky waste

Bulky waste made of composite materials, such as wooden chairs with seat cushions, is classified as category 1 if the main component is wood.
