When should bulky waste be put out?

On collection day, everything must be ready by 6 a.m. at the latest, but no earlier than 3.30 p.m. the day before. This limits the addition of items and rummaging through the rubbish. Premature disposal is an administrative offence that can be punished by the City of Frankfurt am Main.

Where should the bulky waste be placed?

Bulky waste must be placed on level ground on the property in a location that is easily accessible for the collection vehicle – for example, the front garden, house entrance, gate entrance, garage forecourt. If this is not possible, it should be placed on the pavement of the public road in front of the property in a way that does not obstruct traffic. There must be a clear distinction between bulky waste and other property. If there is any doubt, the owner must be present at the time of collection.
