What can be put in it?
All packaging that is not made exclusively of paper, cardboard or glass.
- Plastic packaging such as film, cups and polystyrene,
- composite packaging made from a mix of materials (e.g. aluminium and paper) such as beverage cartons or milk cartons,
- Metal packaging such as food and drink cans (unless they are subject to a deposit),
- Foamed plastics, e.g. fruit and vegetable packaging.
The packaging does not need to be rinsed, but it must be empty.
If there is too much residual waste in the packaging bin, the packaging can no longer be sorted and processed. The bins will then not be emptied. A special collection as residual waste must be requested in writing (application for special collection).
