The "Waste Hunt" competition
An app with chances to win. The Waste Hunt is about picking up carelessly discarded waste and disposing of it in Frankfurt am Main. Picking up waste not only cleans up the landscape but also influences the mindset of people who see it. Join in and help make our city beautiful and livable. Simply download the app, register, and go on the waste hunt.
On your marks, get set, snap!
To participate, you must take a photograph of yourself disposing of the collected litter in a public litter bin. You can use the camera module in the app for this purpose. Simply press the "Hunt for litter" button in the map section. The images will be automatically saved in your photo gallery.
How to take a winning photo
Take a photo of the litter at the moment you dispose of it. This means holding the litter at the height of the bin opening with one hand while taking the photo with the other. Please pay attention to the distance; the litter and the bin must be clearly visible.
You can collect any rubbish that fits through the opening of the bin. This includes, for example, T-Go packaging, plastic bags, cigarette butts, bottle caps and broken glass. Be careful not to injure yourself with sharp objects.

Being active pays off! After every 20 submissions, a winner will be chosen! And you can decide what the prize will be! A stylish apple notebook for all your thoughts, a mini sweeper or a plush toy of Fessie, our cute mascot, and much more. The more rubbish you pick up, dispose of and send in photos of, the greater your chance of winning!
But that's not all. At the end of the month, an additional winner will be drawn from all entries. Exclusive prizes such as shopping vouchers or tickets for a Löwen Frankfurt game await you!
If you win, you will receive a message from us. The message will contain a code. Come to our FES Service Centre within 60 calendar days, show the code to validate yourself as the winner and receive your prize. You can view messages in your inbox within the app.
