Change to street cleaning routes in the city area

FES continues to clean every street in Frankfurt at least once a week

From January 1, 2026, due to a reorganization of street cleaning routes, the cleaning days for many streets in Frankfurt will shift. FES Frankfurter Entsorgungs- und Service GmbH will continue to clean every street at least once a week, and in some cases, depending on the street’s cleaning class, even more frequently. The cleaning class defines the cleaning requirements for each street and is set out in the Frankfurt am Main street cleaning ordinance.
