Just the ends or a radical short cut?

Autumn is here, and with it comes the time to take the hedge or branch shears to your garden and properly trim hedges, shrubs, or trees, depending on the type. FES will collect green waste free of charge from October 20, 2025, until November 7, 2025.

Cuttings should be shortened to one meter and tied into bundles, placed visibly at the property boundary. Up to three cubic meters per property will be collected. Smaller green waste (e.g., from hedge trimmings) can be placed in compostable paper bags. Bundles and bags should not weigh more than 15 kilograms. Leaves and lawn waste are excluded from this collection, as well as wood thicker than ten centimeters.

The green and woody waste collection is free, but an appointment is required. Registration must be made at least two working days before the collection date.
