From junk to jug
Neufundland and FES open sustainable secondhand pop-up store in Frankfurt
From 4 August 2025, the reYoUrS secondhand pop-up store in downtown Frankfurt invites visitors to shop under the motto “From Junk to Bembel”. In cooperation with FES Frankfurter Entsorgungs- und Service GmbH, Neufundland, Frankfurt’s store for used goods, opens its doors at Liebfrauenberg 52-54.
Until 25 August 2025, visitors can acquire Hessian items and curiosities three days a week. These range from old coffee grinders to unique and historical objects – all used treasures with a story to tell.
Donated and refurbished items from estates invite browsing and buying without guilt. Rebuying used items conserves resources and protects the environment.
“The sustainable alternative to buying new has long been established in many areas of consumption. Many people have a real desire to consciously manage existing resources,” says FES CEO Benjamin Scheffler.
In cooperation with GWR, the non-profit operator of Neufundland, FES plans two more secondhand events this year.
Information on sustainability and tips for a more sustainable lifestyle can be found at nachhaltigkeit.fes-frankfurt.de and on recyclist-magazin.de
From 4 to 25 August 2025, the secondhand pop-up store is open Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 1 pm to 6 pm at Liebfrauenberg 52-54.
