When your old life no longer suits you...

12 men begin the qualification program at FES.

There was a bit of excitement in the air as the young men were welcomed in the morning for the start of the

12-month qualification program to become drivers/loaders at FES Frankfurter Entsorgungs- und Service GmbH.

A new professional future has begun, as the men want a change. They are between 23 and 33 years old, have already done quite a bit in their lives, studied, completed vocational training, worked in sales or for a delivery company. Now they have started the nationwide unique program, which guarantees them a permanent position at FES or a subsidiary if they successfully complete at least three of the four competence modules. Hardly any more job security is possible.

FES CEO Benjamin Scheffler says: “Life does not always follow a straight path. Sometimes you have to reinvent yourself. With the qualification program, we want to give everyone who is serious a chance. And the program works, because in the past 13 years around 90 men and women have successfully completed it.”

Graduates of the qualification program who have successfully completed all four competence modules have the opportunity, after three years of practice as drivers/loaders, to register for the final exam with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Upon passing this exam, they receive their certificate for completed vocational training as professional drivers for freight transport.
