Smartphone learning workshop
Exhibition and presentation of the material kit in the former FES service center at Liebfrauenberg
How are smartphones made, and what treasures are built into them? How much energy is hidden in the use and production of the mobile device? What effects does their production have on humans and the environment, and what are the living conditions of people in the production countries like? Students explore these and other questions in the “Smartphone” learning workshop, which is now being presented with new loan materials for school classes.
The learning workshop was developed by Umweltlernen in Frankfurt together with Frankfurter Entsorgungs- und Service GmbH (FES) for grades 5 to 7 and is available to Frankfurt schools as a bookable offer. New is the free-to-borrow material set for teachers to use in their own lessons.
FES and Umweltlernen in Frankfurt are exhibiting the learning materials for viewing in the former FES service center at Liebfrauenberg and invite interested teachers and educational providers to get to know the learning stations as part of a materials training session.
