A new qualification round for drivers/loaders has started at FES

Four men took the first steps toward a new professional future today at Frankfurter Entsorgungs- und Service GmbH (FES). The 12-month qualification program for drivers/loaders has begun. This program, which is unique throughout Germany, guarantees the offer of a permanent position at FES or one of its subsidiaries if participants successfully complete at least three of the four competency modules.

FES Managing Director Benjamin Scheffler says: “Since the start 13 years ago, more than 80 men and women have successfully completed the qualification program. We will be delighted if, in twelve months, we can also congratulate these four colleagues and offer them permanent employment contracts.”

The qualification program was developed to give men and women a chance for a professional fresh start: whether because they want to change careers, because their start into professional life was not immediately successful, or because they faced other personal challenges in the past.

Scheffler continues: “Demographic change does not stop at FES either. The qualification program gives us the opportunity to attract motivated employees who receive a great deal of support from us during the program.”

Graduates of the qualification program who have successfully completed all four competency modules have the opportunity, after three years of practical work as a driver/loader, to register for the final examination at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. After passing this examination, they receive their certificate of completed vocational training as a professional driver for freight transport.

Nicole Krauß, Nabil El Falaki and Burhan Bursali know exactly how the four new colleagues feel. They successfully completed their qualification program in February and are also starting their permanent employment at FES today.
